b-ionic question.

Ive been using this stuff for about 2 months now and all was well. After my water testing today Ive found my Ca was 410 (good) but my Alk/Kh is 11.5. Ive seen this slowly rise the last 2 weeks but Im not too sure how to lower it. I currently dose 10ml of each into my 42 cube. Is it really as easy as just lowering the Alk dose and keeping the Ca dose at a normal 10ml or is there more to it? The only reason I ask is because the bottle says "add in equal doses". a full water report reads:

Ca 410
Alk - 11.5
Mag -1350 (ive been working on getting this up for a while now)
Ph - 8.1ish
Nitrates - 0.5

Equal dosing is the norm, but from time to time you may have to reduce one half or skip a day. Test your alkalinity each day, and resume when it is back to the level you normally keep your tank at.

Sounds good. I was just told that you must add equal amounts or nothing. Thanks for clearing that up
