Finally got the tanks up and running!

Well, it's finally done (at least everything beside the sump). I now have the aquascaping done in my new 90, got the corals put on pegs and placed in the DT along with my limited cleaning crew. Finally, I re-trapped the fish and moved them back over. My lawnmower blenny still needs to make the move, but everyone else is over. Here's the aquascaping before I added anything living.

For now, my ph probe from the RKL is in the corner, and the carbon reactor is running on the DT until my sump is replaced with my old 55. Everything looks pretty good in the new tank, and hopefully the coral will color back up over time now that the environment is more stable. The move stressed some sps out and they lost their color. My RBTA split too, one of them is in the 90 but you can't see it. More on that later. Here are some shots of the tank as it is today. Unfortunately I kind of suck at tank photography and many of my chalice and acro frags on the right side blend in with the rock in the pic. The white balance is a bit off too.

Whole system: The 50 is a frag tank and is still running 250w XM 10k lights. The 90 is running Icecap 14k's.

And of course, I made the entire middle structure as a tower for my RBTA to really anchor on and spread out. He didn't like that. He walked all the way down and anchored to the base of my frogspawn. Neither seems to be stinging the other. It's like a duplex for my clowns.

I forgot to mention that my diatom bloom is in full swing, along with a high ph. My RKL says it's swinging between 8.3 and 8.5 or higher. I have a couple ideas for reducing it, but of course my skimmer pump died last night so I now have to deal with that too.

Looks awesome Mits, cool design! Man you can really see the difference in the 10k and the 14k lights. I like the full system shot, nice. Sorry to hear about ya skimmer. That's cool the two corals are next to each other and not stinging one another. ;-)

I like the openness of it. Most tanks end up looking too dense in my opinion. Also like the black sand, I used that in a 20 gal nano a few years back and loved the contrast it brings.
