Sometimes you have to start again

Rate this Entry
Well couldn't overcome the hair algae issues from a second hand tank I bought so all live stock sold and tank stripped down. When removing all items the state of them was awful and all now cleaned up and like new.

Decided while tank stripped going to buy the Tunze 9002 upgrade and Media rack as they seem to improve the water clarity and flow etc.

Taken a while to do but worth it as know when complete will have a lovely tank again.

It's ready alright. What's your plan for livestock choices?

As someone who's done long and painful battles with hair algae in the past, what are your total filtration plans? Are you re-using the rock and sand?
