SPS pictures

For today's blog entry, I thought I'd share some SPS pictures. They're growing in nicely.

A. austera

Birdsnest, aka Ponape

Love the blue hue (you can see it in the second image) of the main branches in this coral, which has green polyps

This coral is my favorite one to view from above. No IDea (see what I did there?)

I'm happy the A. caroliniana is doing well.

This little gem was in my last tank, and only a little bit of tissue survived. It's slowly revealing its beauty now

Montipora sp.

A. loripes, sprouting new branches all over what was a smooth core three months ago.

A. rosario (maybe?)

Don't know, but this guy is doing very well and is branching out nicely. Almost tabling, but not really.

I'll save a few more pictures for tomorrow's blog.

I love the shape (growth pattern) of the coral in the second picture. Saving pictures for tomorrows post? You tease.

You've got no idea - I've been doing that all week.

Marc In the 8th & 9th picture is that a purple polyp birdsnest on the right?

Possibly. I thought it was Bird of Paradise, but now it may be the Tubb's Purple Polyp, or something else. Check my previous blog this week where I showed that coral specifically. http://www.reefaddicts.com/entry.php...Picture-update
