North Indonesia Dive holiday

Rate this Entry
Hey guy's just got back from a magical week in North Indonesia. We went to the Bunaken Marine Park for an amazing dive holiday. Water was incredible! Visibility was between 20 and 40 meters. The reef is really healthy. Amazingly the water temp is a constant 29 degrees during the day and 28 at night. Goes to show that as long as your water chemistry is stable all corals will adapt. I also brought some water back with me, here are the results.

KH 7
Calcium 400
Magnesium 1120
Salinity 1.0224
PH 8.4
iodine 0.06

We're told not to run our tanks at these parameters, but can we?

Also here is a link to some photos I took with my new camera rig, Cannon G12 with Inon strobe.http://www.flickr.com/photos/56778114@N05/
