Well folks, the time has come. By tomorrow there will be salt water in them there tank....

The aquarium has been moved into the office. Rockwork installed. Plumbing tightened (the many bulkheads that is!). I have bags of live sand and salt ready to go. The RODI machine is SLOWLY churning. I'm only making about 5 gallons every three hours or so. More tomorrow when it will look almost ready for fishies and coral.

    I still need to get some. My LFS has it for sale... and its all covered in Aiptasia. I'd like to find some nuggets that I can use to seed coraline algea growth. I'd be open to any suggestions that you might have.

    Looking good so far. I bet you are getting really antsy about now to move forward.

    What RO/DI system do you have that produces water so slowly? What's the water temperature where you are?

    You can get coraline from snails or anything, I wouldn't worry about that. Its the other stuff that comes from the live rock, is why I asked. A lot of people struggle starting with all dry rock. I would not use the aiptasia rock unless you have time to use shrimps or nudibranches to get rid of it. I would just find another source. I do like the way the rocks look in there though. I am guessing they are tied together in some way so they don't topple?
