Your lucky only thing my in-law eagerly do is stick their hands out. OH did I say that out loud my bad. Glad everything made it Henry sucks your tank was bo'ed
Hat, they are Green Star Polyp's (Pachyclavularia sp.). It's an excellent beginner soft coral that doesn't require much light. Though it grows like a weed.
I moved the reef this past Tuesday. My two son-in-laws eagerly helped move everything to the new house. Sorry about the lack of pictures but my e-mail hasn't been working properly. I put all livestock into rubbermaids. We went super fast (as possible) so I could get system bac up and running. Now, I did have one huge problem. I ordered a new 75 gallon RR and a new plumbing kit for the tank. Plumbing kit came in but the the was backordered. I could leave the tank at the condo or take it to the new tank and put it together. Then next week change out the tank, again. I decided to take it because my daughter was taking care of it for me for the pSt few weeks and not that she don't k ow what she's doing, but really she did not know what she was doing. ;-p She's's learning though. I decided not to put the livestock in the tank that night because I wanted the water quality to stabilize overnight. The next day i put all the livestock in the tank myself. I could not get the help of my sons due to they had to go to work. Keep in mind, im blind in one eye and cant see out the other. ;-p Shortly after i put everything in the all my fish and shrimps were out and playing. Everything made it! I hope to get my e-mail working right so I can post a pic of what it looks like now. Ive moved some corals around because some thing were to close to others. (in the front, can't see past a couple inches). Hopefully nothings touching past a few inches. I have to wait till my son come so he can check that out for me. That's all for now, will try and get that pic.
Marc and Agsansoo, ya tanks are gorgeous!! Agsansoo, what kind of coral is the blob on the front glass? WacoFish, what size tank is that? Also, I moved the tank this Tuesday. Ran in to a few problems. I will post that on the other thread soon. I took a pic an hour ago of my tank and my email is not working good. That's how I get my iPhone pics to post. Also, when ya ready to put ya tank together you can still get that sand to seed and stuff! Just call me!
I envy your tanks, they are very cool will be so glad when i am able to get mine started
Looks like you have plenty to share with others, Agsansoo. Even your zoanthids are growing up the front panel. I never realized this is a bowfront tank.
Thanks Marc! I hope I don't lose any livestock. I do have it all planned out though, so I won't lose anything.
I hope the move goes smoothly.
Okay, so until we sell the condo there will be no upgrade. But I did get a new 75g RR and all new plumbing which comes in today. Sons coming to get me at 10:00am so we can go to my condo and get my reef, finally. My daughter has been taking care of it for the past few weeks. I can't wait till it's here. All my Acans are closed I noticed the other day when I went to the condo. I will get the water quality right. Busy day!!
Bump!! Yeah like Marc said, no pressure... Ya ever got ya butt beat by a blind dude? Better post them pics!
No pressure people. But still... let's see those tanks.
We had 1/4 horses when I was growing up loved them When we move Ill be getting some again. A good horse will get you home when you get to drunk to drive and a atv well just isnt that smart
We are going to want to see pictures of them for sure.
Well, I would really like a paint. Long story short, years ago we had a home in the country and I wanted a paint. Well when I went to look at it, it was gone. (sold). I bought another horse, a Morgan Gelding. So this time I will put the horse-blinds on and get my paint.
What kind of horse(s) do you have in mind?
Thanks Lonnie and Marc! we love our new home! We have our house in the country with three acres. I'm going to build a barn in the back and hopefully get a horse or two. I will post a pic later today. It's nothing spectacular but it's what we have been wanting.
