Hat, thanks. Having alternating flow is really nice, but the noise from the closed loop is getting pretty annoying. I'm hoping it'll quite down a bit once things slime up and break in a little. As for the rock work, I added it all by feel while the water was still cloudy, so I'm surprized it tuned out so well.
Nice video Phil! Every they looks happy in ya tank. I like the flow; you can really see it from the surface. Like I already said, the rock work looks awesome Marc, what can I say,!-WOW! I wanna upgrade - buy cant - I live in a condo with limited space. Darnit!
Looking awesome Marc. I like the Marilin Monroe background. Wonder if I can find near life size mermaid poster to put behind mine....hmmm....
Here's a full tank shot from today.

The birdsnest and Pocillapora are growing well and looking great. Unfortunately, my Acro started bleaching a few days before the move. It's only got a couple tips that are still colored and looking alive. But, when I moved the tank I also got my closed loop with SCWD set up, so I'm hoping the improved current will help it recover. Plus, being at home I can monitor the tank parameters much more closely. Here's a Full tank Video I just shot tonight.
Looks good everyone. Thanks for the comments cruelle!

Finally got my tank moved home last weekend. Everything is up and running and so far the only casualty is on of my emerald crabs who got forgotten in the bottom of a tote for several hours.
Thanks Hat. My large female maroon clown has been on a terror lately. She keeps smashing my frags into the front glass. So much so, I had to move them to the top right corner of the tank. As for coral growth, the red planet colony grows the fastest. Look at red planet frag just to the right of the large colony. It's starting to grow closer to the main colony. Soon it will touch.
Agsansoo, ya tank is gorgeous!! Looks like your corals are really growing out nicely too. Also, that Monti Cap is beautiful! I looked at a pic of your tank when I re-done my rock-scape because ya tank looks so awesome. Great job!
Here's mine for the month. Notice all the fish run and hide when I pull out the camera... LOL
Hey CRuelle, thank for the compliments! I almost missed ya post. I must be blind or something. :-p Your tank is looking great! I hope everything has been doing good with ya tank.
It's not the question of keeping my tank clean; I clean it everyday. I'm retired, have all day every day. I had a outbreak of algae on the back glass and when I'd cleaned it became water-bound. Algae would stick to my SPS and if not caught would kill that section. Well, I started a phosphate media and now I don't have the algae. . Thanks for ya help.
I tend to keep my tank clean all the time, never letting algae get ahead of me. If you spend a few minutes every day or two wiping things down, it's much easier than spending a full hour once a week or multiple hours one day monthly. While cleaning, I am looking at all of my frags to make sure they are upright and in position. If you have a big sheet of algae land on a coral, I would remove it carefully. Siphon, tongs, tweezer, turkey baster, or waving my hand back and forth near the coral.
Marc, your tank is the bomb! Super clean! Your tank inspires me to do better with my tank. I've been doing all I can to achieve great water quality for my livestock. I started a 2-part dozing a month or so ago, dose coral vitamins and started magnesium this weekend. I bought a new heater this weekend. (300 watt). Also this past week a UPS system. I'm going to re-do all the wire management on the system. I do have a question: when doing cleaning in tank and algae/stuff become floating in the water, it gets on the SPS coral like a magnet. If you don't "blow" it off right-a-way it will hurt the SPS. My question is does everyone have this problem or what do ya do to prevent it?
I need to take a full tank shot with all the lights on. This is all I have handy at the moment.
@ Hat your tank is looking sharp...coming together nice @sisterlimonpot--nice layout looks pretty slick @mhowe9 off to a great start looking good!
Here is my shot!!!
