so what if you cant fit the whole tank in one shot?
Hat, I usually watch for whoever has free shipping deals going on and try to combine the order with another reefer in the office. I actually have one tiny piece of monti that survived from this spring, It's little more than a fuzzy patch of rock less than a 1/4" right now, but my fingers are crossed.
Phil, Monti's would grow fast and pretty under the lights you have. Under my lights Acros stay healthy but grow slow and I'm not sure about birdsnest. You can get a colony of Acro from BlueZoos or such and you wouldn't have to wait and they will stay healthy and grow. Monti, you could get a small frag and it would grow real fast. Is it real expensive to mail frags to Alaska? Who knows? I can give you one of my frags Phil if it wouldn't cost much. And, how do you pack it safely for the coral? ;-)
Actually I'm thinking of taking the easy way out, getting a Monti, a birdsnest and an Acro and just seeing which does the best, then getting more colors of the same.
Nice Phil! So what type of SPS are you going to try? ;-)
Here you go.
Thanks Jaxom!! I can't wait till you can too. ;-)
Hey Hat the tank is lookin good, can't wait until I can start posting some full tank shots ................ with something in the tank ...LOL.
Your tank is like super clean NightShade! I like the new live rock too! ;-) I almost missed it, you added some frags; looks like some nice ones.
Well have an updated pic for mine since CRASE.
Nice tanks guys. Lets see some more.

;-) ...NO!
Yeah. . . it can be a pain but would it be as much fun if you didn't have the choices available?
All the decisions in this hobby... Don't ya love it! ;-)
/bow . . . Thank you very much. I have had a 55 gallon tank that was kinda tore up from the previous owner which I resealed and put some baffles in for a sump which was earmarked for a 120 48 x 24 x 24. I don't see that project coming to fruition any time soon and since petco ran their 1 dollar per gallon tank sale again I actually picked up another 55 and they are sitting side by side in my old s-10 blazer waiting for a build to start. I don't have all the design worked out but hope to pretty soon, just have to borrow a woodshop again to make my build but that should be doable now just have to decide if I am going to spring for the wood look or paint. . . and if I paint what color.
