I have amore a mixed reef. You know I started off like most do I think. I liked softies and wavy stuff. Then I started getting some lps then I wanted all sps. Kinda like I was wearing my big boy pants. Now well I like all coral really. I have grown an appreciation for all ocean things anymore. I have zoos palys, some rics, several types of lps and sps too. I had a good amount of fish and then I added a black clarki clown. I am not sure what it had but in 3 days it wiped out all my fish except my flame hawk. MY tomingi, powder blue tang, anthias, multi color angel ect.... So I have been pretty bumbed with the fish. All coral is great . I did buy a blue flasher wrasse the other day and it is doing well. So this has been about a month ago now and all is good. I just ordered a Borbonias anthias. So I am excited about that. I am going to be a little pickier about the fish this time around. I want a tang but not sure what yet. maybe a purple or chevron. The chevrons are pretty young but loose their color so we will see.
Hi Mojo. Welcome. What are you planning on keeping in your tank? Mixed reef? Or something species specific?
Well I wont deny, I was pretty skeptical of them. I actually even ordered more gfo from BRS just in case. but they seem to be doing there job. I have removed the gfo from the system a week ago now. I need to retest the water but I was at 0.00 phosphates before I removed the gfo. So ill have to check and let you know. So far so good.
