What does it eat?
Ha! I didn't watch the video with sound the after I posted it. My wife was employing an attention getting device as I had been gazing into the aquarium for countless hours, still didn't get my attention. Actually she was making the loudest cookies know to man. I also received an identification: My guess is an Thuridilla sp. (perhaps Thuridilla gracilis): http://www.starfish.ch/Fotos/mollusc...a-gracilis.jpg I am told he is a harmless herbivore.
I was thinking soup cans in the sump ... No help on the critter.
I don't recognize it, but more importantly you need to tell your wife that the toaster definitely doesn't go in the dryer.
Not sure what it is but I would pull it out and put it in the sump until I found out.
I have a couple things in the work for the lights, I would love to see Jessy's DIY hanging assembly. I have kept the light intensity between 35 and 45% since they are so close right now.

The one thing I did think during the power outage when it was rather was "I hope it is strong enough, should have re-enforced the top more"
I'd love a better picture personally. Just so you know, blog entries can be longer and you can insert a bunch of images in your entry. Jessy has a great DIY light hanging assembly. Just have to get her to post it for you. Those lights are way too close to the surface and will cook the corals usually.
Hi Nathan. Good to see you on R.A.
WOW, like the rock work.
The tank is 30"wide x 30" long x 24" high. It is made by Marineland.
What are the dimensions of your tank ?
Figured it out, bigger pictures!
Thanks. It was my first, I did a lot of planning and reading on how to work with acrylic. It was also convenient that my father-in-law recently bought a very nice table saw and has the skills to use it well.
Googling pictures of both, I still come to the conclusion that it is a Phymathus anenome. The tentacles seem to be rather unique and the little guy in the tank matches the pictures of the phymathus.
I was looking for the option to post large photos, how do you do that? The lights are Aqua Illumination Sol Super Blue LED's love them so far. Very adjustable in terms of color.
Tell us about your lighting setup - looks like LED's?
This was your first sump build? Totally looks professional. Nice job! I only hope my first will come out that well!
