well i got it all fixed, turns out i have the check valve after the ASOV oops

im using a kent float valve, ive tryed turning it on and off quickly while pressureized to try and release air, when its at 28psi there is no product water just waste

Just a few thoughts...

Bad valve? Could have a faulty membrane or something inside. Input pressure too high (probably not likely)? If you cut the input water and then turn it back on, does it still "leak"? Usually these systems run with a kent float valve that turns off the RO/DI output. You could have a problem with the float valve where it doesn't really shut all the way off because of debris where the float is supposed to plug the water tube. When it's at 28psi, is the system still generating RO/DI on the 'clean' side of the filter?

the only problem with a generator is, is, if im at work for 8 hours and the power goes out im screwed

i think im going to get a APC1000 just to see how long it lasts running my return (mag 5...undersided i know) and maybe my heater..heck maybe my hydor 1 aswell, depending on how that works,test out some return policy or keep it

When it comes to back-ups, a UPS is nice for low-voltage equipment (Tunze and Vortech are examples) that can keep them running for hours on end. Ecotech offers Battery Backups designed specifically for their pumps that should run about 24 hours before running dry. I used to use a APC 1500 UPS for my 29g's Mag 5 pump, and another one for the Tunze Turbelle (800gph) pump in the 55g tank.

However, the best item you can purchase is a generator. It provides power for your tank, your computer, your fridge and your tv. All the things you want when the power is out. An outdoor grill or a camping stove allows meals to be heated up. Here's the generator article:

they are all back and im seeing lots of growth in my birdsnest and believe it or not i had to dose Ca for the first time today (i probabuly could of done a waterchange)

i sat infront of the tank for almost an hour thinking of where to place everything then it hit me, ive bought 15frags in the past 2 weeks my sand is covered in frag plugs, i doubt there will be room for everything on the rock......i think i need a bigger tank ahhhhh this sucks im just going to have to get super creative i may get rid of my orange monti, it takes up far too much room same with my ugly purple digi

just another update, i tested the membrane and its putting out 2 TDS so i may just keep it till the TDS creeps up, but thats down the road, my RODI is working just fine and i dont really feel spending money i dont have messing with it....yet ,lets just give it a week or two lol

as for the Garbage can reservoir , today while i was cleaning it i noticed the bottom was pealing in the center, very thin layers of clear plastic it was very hard to pull off, i need to give it a closer inspection but chances are ill keep the float and scrap the can, i have already ordered a blue 45gal barrel from a water company here for 40bucks. the autoshut off contraption still isnt working so i will be ordering one from brs for 8 bucks...not bad

tonight i threw out the prefilters and cleaned all the housings, i was curious on the status of the membrane and wanted to see if the shut-off worked so i hooked it up to my functioning prefilters on my rodi, then i realzed i lost my TDS (im sure its upstairs somewhere ill find it soon) but i did test the shut-off it didnt work very well it would slowly turn off then make a horrible sound and turn back on, i checked for leaks but couldnt see anything

They are gone now, don't see them anymore.

They aren't showing up for me either.
