yeah im definitly looking forward to seeing this filter, i have no idea what to expect, im thinking maybe the bigger 20"? housings?

well i sorta want to stay away from gobys i dont like how they throw sand all over my coral, im thinking a dwarf angel would be nice but last i heard they arent reef safe, im leaning towards a single Red Tail Flasher Wrasse or maybe a pair or a pair of Tanaka's Pygmy Wrasse i definitly want something unique i dont mind spending a little money but i guess my options are sorta limited

I just heard that today. I've never done that. I just wait it out and let the coral grow when it is ready, like a long awaited Christmas present. Since it is all brown for now, it's just not happy. That can change, so you just have to ask yourself if you have the patience. For now, avoid handling it and resist the urge to keep moving it.

Cool beans on the bigger filter. I hope it is something practical.

Do you want smaller fish like a Twinspot Goby or Clown Goby? Or something a little larger like a Coral Beauty? Or a practical fish like a Lawnmower Blenny? Do you have a color in mind? That helps as well.

ive started decideng where to place them all, its definitly going to be tricky, im trying to keep in mind that my tank is viewable from 3 sides not just the one i like to look at, so that should help with distribution. but im still keeping them down on the sand till they get use to my intense lights

the good news is im already seeing color improvments more so in the iceman and purple monster not so much in the yellow blast and voodoo

p.s is it just my computer or are my pics really gone?

i live in canada so no customs, shipping took about 18hours which isnt too bad considering what they go through when they are shipped from wholesalers

Looks great! How long do you think the shipping took? Coming from Canada... do you think they spent some time in customs?

well i just came home from work to find him dead and being eaten by my nassarius snails, hes almost all gone so im thinking ill just let them finish him off. all my other fish are still fine, i did some quick water tests and everything appears okay, so im not too worried but still concerned

i like to do a waterchange when i add new carbon or gfo, when removing water from the tank i let it pass through the reactor rinsing all the new media removing fines and dust

You could add an airstone for the time being to help oxygenate the water, or move it to a QT system with an airstone in case something in the water is hurting your fish. Carbon dust and GFO fines can be hard on their gills, which is why rinsing is critical.

Have you had any luck with keeping windows open? I noticed my tank was only getting up to 8.05 or so by the end of day. I have since kept a window open near the tank and as I type it (5:51 pm est) my tank is already up top 8.20.
