  1. i bought a new friend today

    Finally i was able to find a berghia nudibranch to combat the Aiptasia population in my tank.

    this little guy cost me 30bucks which is quite expensive, however it is well needed as Aiptasia are beginning to spread from my clam to my rocks and sand bed... i dripped this little guy for about 30min then set him in! I went to pour a cup of coffee and he was gone, i have no idea where he went, i gave up after about an hour of searching for him…the waiting begins

  2. DIY light fixture is shocking

    the title basically says it all, I’ve only just discovered it today when i touched my fixtures heat sink and U-channel aluminum with wet hands...it wasn’t a strong shock but none the less this should not be happening

    There are two posible sources of this stray voltage
    1. Where the wires from the drivers go through the sharp edge of the heat sink and in to my fixture its possible it cut the insulation.
    2. A while back I damaged one of my LED’s when I had to add longer wires, I accidently

  3. Oyster feast feeding response + new FTS

    i went to the LFS today to check things out, i noticed they just got reef nutrition products so i felt compelled to try Oyster feast. overall the feeding response was great!! everything opened up nicely including my Acans. but then i noticed this unknow acro sliming like crazyy, more so around the base. just wondering if anyone knows what exactly is going on here, could it be to increase food capture?
