I am sad to hear about that coral, it will be sad to see it go if it does not make it. Hope it pulls thru for you, but it will never be the same

Yep, David's right. I got divorced, and then got into this hobby.

I did meet a beautiful girl in Portland, and she even said she'd love to come to Texas, but I think she was just lying to me.

You mean fish treats, Marc does not have a wife, unless something happen on this trip that we don't know about....

Hey Melve, remember when I dropped you off at the hotel and we saw the police road blocking all the streets off. Just found out that was a small plane that crashed and two people lost there lives. Link--

I had a similar event. The drop felt like really bad turbulence(the constant drop feeling) for 15-30 seconds straight. It makes you get that stomach in your mouth feeling like a roller coaster. The Captain did come on and say they had a near miss and the planes alert message said to dive. It was pretty scary. Some people started screaming. The flight was on American West flight to Phoenix. They sent out $100 vouchers for American West to all of the passengers.

On a side note, my Mom use to be a flight attendant back in the day. She said usually the Captains don't like to tell the passengers what is going on so people don't freak out.

    Glad you are okay.

That's why I drive. I would have driven to Hawaii if they had finished the bridge.

That is awesome! Most people say "I hope nothing dies." when they have to do this at some point in the hobby. Looks like you said "nothing is going to die!" Great job man

Wow. . . what size plane were you on? I flew on united from Sioux City, IA to Chicago when I was 14 and had a few 100ft + plummets but that was on a 21 seat twin engine turbo prop. The flight from Chicago to sanfransisco was basically boring but had fun watching OJ run from the cops while I was in the terminal. . .

Very interesting to hear though. . . btw a friend of mine worked cleaning planes and light mechanic work when we were in high school. His favorite repair tool was 100mph Duct Tape. They tape the plane together and send a note to some other place saying something needs fixed right. I guess he learned that from someone else but he could have moved to where ever you got on that plane.

Oops, I should have replied sooner. I fly in on a twin prop plane to Portland, Maine. It was a decent flight in a smaller plane, but we were buffeted around a little. Only because of the first flight, I had a few misgivings. The landing was good, and we deplaned right onto the tarmac and walked into the terminal.

Good idea, American is much better at dodging that invisible turbulance.

Seriously though, I doubt there was anything wrong, other than the pilots were busy earning their salaries keeping things right side up, rather than talking to the passengers.
