Yes, I got it last year along with a Pygmy Angel. Something devoured the Pygmy two months ago, as I saw the bony structure in my rockwork during flashlight patrol. The Flame hasn't been a problem, but I have stuff in my frag tank that I'd like to move over, but I'm a little concerned it might find them a tad appealing. Then again, when the 400g goes up, all that stuff will be combined and nature will take its course. My hope is that it will go well. After all, I had a great Flame Angel years ago in my 29g that eventually moved into the 280g and was a beautiful specimen I enjoyed daily.
Is that a flame angel in the pic? If so, how is it doing in your tank? is it behaved?
I've not heard anything, but the 400g that was here is gone to a new home.
BTW, What's going on with your replacement tank? If I lived close to you I would buy the one you have now off of you. Sorry to highjack this thread.
Yes, they are pretty sweet. Montipora vericosa on the right, and Acropora hystrix on the left. They were grown on some type of flower stem holder, and when trying to remove it from the larger Montipora, it broke into two pieces. For the time being, all the corals look happy.
nice corals.
amazing prank, i especially enjoyed the guest who actually believed you! best April fools joke for sure.
Updated with a picture from a week ago.
hahahaha Hook, line, & sinker.
LMAO. We had a whole discussion about the article on a forum and how you were totally right. der.
I'm going to tie the 60g into my 400g's setup, so the filtration will be handled by the skimmer, dosed by the reactors, and topped off automatically. I'm going to use a Vortech pump for flow, Radion for light, and feed it nightly with frozen food just like the main reef. I'm thinking with the clowns in the 60g, I might get my hands on the eggs for once, and try to raise some fry this year.

I'm looking into setting up an anemone (and pair of clownfish) only tank (no corals) in my office. Approx 30 gallon cube plus sump. What do you plan on using for flow and filtration for your anemone only tank?
You bastard.

Beautiful anemone pics. And beautiful anemones, of course :-) . What are the parameters (ISO, apperture and exposure) on those pics?
I hope to make a run for all the cherry wood in two weeks. I want to get enough to do all the woodwork around the big reef as well as build a stand for the 60g. The weather is finally starting to warm up and with it my motivation to get more stuff done that has been pending for a long time. Of course, I need the 400g too.
Can't wait to see it finished.
They are in my reef, currently housed in a 215g waiting for the 400g to arrive. They will be going into a 60g cube next to the big tank, so they can do their thing without stinging my pretty SPS corals any longer.
What size tank is this going to be? Didn't you have one already?
