I just wanted to share some of the life in my tank today.

ORA tank-raised Mandarin fish.

The banded Serpent Starfish was out last night. Usually it likes to take forage in the LPS dominated bommie of my reef.

Years ago, I got a clone of the "Sherman Rose" BTA from a DFWMAS club member. It split numerous times, and I finally got down to only one. This one has been happy to spread out in the 400g and kill any corals within its extensive reach.

It's just such a stunner. How can I even consider pulling it out of the tank you ask? Well, that's why it is still in there. Plus my clowns like it.

Today, my reef turns one year old, but I can’t really feel the reason to celebrate. If anything, I’ve been really frustrated that my reef isn’t humming along nicely and showcasing beautiful corals that have been growing in over the past twelve months. At nine months, it was looking great and was vivid with color, now it feels almost like I’m starting over.
