Amen. The wiring harness is quite useful, and long lasting.

I did a quick seqarch on the web but had now luck.
Sorry man, by the time I go look up the configuration at the ballast on my wall (mounted seven feet high), write it down, put it into some form you can understand on the internet, you go hunt down a female pin assembly and wire it. There is far more than $30 of both of our time invested into the project. Sometimes its just best to use PayPal.

Duane is right. A.G.E. is the only company that does it, and it is a secret process so they can protect their business' income.

Ive used DAP E-6000 with great success glueing glass to acrylic and vise versa. http://www.amazon.com/Eclectic-Produ.../dp/B00178MO58

But Im not too sure I'd build a large fish tank with it. Maybe you can contact the builders of A.G.E. tanks and get the trade secret for the tanks they build

You can purchase the correct mesh from PremiumAquatics.com and it doesn't cost much.

Ive used 3-M scrub brush material before but wouldnt recommend it. Thats another story.
As far as the air intake, you will need to build a venturi.

no i use to use an over flow with u tubes, i found a web site called glass-holes.com that makes overflows thats you drill the back of the tank and run bulkheads through them just looks like a more cleaner install

I would think that only the bottom of the tank is tempered. Not sure though. Just curious but is your overflow box not working for you?

What are the dimensions of your tank? Is it custom?
  12. MMoore0324's Avatar
I would bet that the bottom is tempered. It should have some sort of seal or label saying if it's tempered. Do you want to drill it? Some manufactures are All-Glass-Aquarium, Perfecto, Top Fin, Oceanic, Marineland. Those are the main ones that you see. Of course, if you are unsure... DON'T DRILL!

The workhorse ballasts are made by Fulham. http://www.fulham.com/

Ive used them for years to drive many different bulbs, very good reliability.

I dont currently have any, but have friends who have had good luck with them.

Personally, I'm a big Icecap fan.

Nope. You can tell because it doesn't have the top flange nor the cool Melev's Reef sticker.

did you get that model from Melevs site??

I think the Galaxy Ballast are good for Metal halides. I found a Dual Galaxy Ballast 2x250 watt for 215 delivered to my door. I'll look for the info later and post it. It was acutally cheaper than the price of the local group buy in my area too.
