So I decided that I wanted to use a 1.5 schedule 80 bulkhead on my new sump. These bulkheads are available at Bulk Reef Supply. These bulkheads are very heavy duty and have a very large gasket. One of my Chromis got pop-eye for no apparent reason. Only thing that has changed is recently is that I added a new pump - Reeflo Dart Hybrid. I have it valved back and the pump is sucking a lot of bubbles from the skimmer (until I get the new sump plumbed in). Does anyone think that the pump can be the cause or does anyone have another idea. The rest of the tank is fine.
I'm going to be posting about my project to upgrade my old sump to a new Melev's reef custom sump. Here is where I'm starting from: Cramped quarters and a real mess.
