Thank you sir! I really like how this is coming together... I have to admit I wasn't sure when I was dealing with the dirty water and I'm glad that's past!!!

This is going to be a very pretty tank based on the corals you've mentioned so far.

Ya... That's an MP40. It's a bit much for this tank. I have to set it at it's lowest as I'm keeping a lot of soft coral in this tank. But it really works well!

Love those vortex man.. there pretty expensive here.

Came in today and it looks even better! Levels are looking great and I think mid/late next week I'll start the change over! I'm excited! Once I get a few things tied up and the controller on it, I'll complete a full write up with pictures and explanations.

The tank is shaping up! The water is clear too.

Looks WAY better today... I'm going to put a 250MH over it tonight (really DIY,) and then it's just a 30% water change and late next week I'll start adding a few things - slowly.

So Scott, was that live rock in there?

The rock in there was not live rock... So no issues incase anyone was going to ask.

OK, things are all cleared up... Now I figure I have a week before I take it to the next stage - adding some live rock.

If this hobby wasn't a labor of love, I tell you!!! I'm sure there wont be an update for a couple weeks now. I need to let the water get up to par and then let things cure a bit.

Well I guess I can't dodge it anymore... tonight I'm draining tank and cleaning the sand. Hey if this is my one bone head mistake on this build I'll be happy! I can't believe I got so hasty on this part, there's a first time for everything.

:| I'd rather not talk about the sand issue... Lets just say, there were a few mistakes made and NOW I have to wait until the water clears up. I did put some "Clarity" in the tank. I'm hoping things improve tomorrow.

you didn;t give your sand a really good rinse did you??
other than that I'm looking forward to more pics!!

Next will be adjusting the sand and a few of the dead rock that I'm using for a base.
