Hey Tommy, I'm also glad to see that past incidents are not taking you away from this hobby. Accidents happen! Can you post some pics of your tank(s)? We would all love to see some pictures.

well it was a 1 2 punch of my chiller pump siezing towards the end of the summer driving the water temp up to 92 without me knowing till one day i stuck my hand in the water and oh oh, that happened twice, and i realized if i dosed to much alk that would happen. but by then pretty much 99% of my coral didnt make it. and my parameters became unbalanced, ph would go up and down like 60 pts in a day, and alk would keep raising and cal went through the roof so now im starting the transfer with mainly just fish. and what ever remaining corals that lived through that rough patch, not much i might add.

THANKS FELLA'S LOL Midnight to answer your question yes the standard 265rr tank made by marineland only comes with 4 1" holes, now the drains they provide you are 1 1/2" but have a reduce at the bottom so technically it is what it is lol, that is why im going to use all 4 1 inch holes as drains, and it looks like both holes in each box will fit the 2 overflow drains in each box, havent gotten to check it out yet, but i believe there is room for this, so today i pretty much got most of the roughing from where the tank will be on the first floor to where the 150 gallon rubbermaid will be, i was going to go with black pvc but it just cost too much and doesnt make sense since my father has his own plumbing co. so guess what that means free pvc lol, which i used alot of already. Now my next steps are :
    1. PUT THE TANK ON THE STAND (THIS WILL REQUIRE ATLEAST 3 OR 4 GUYS)
    2. INSTALL ALL 4 DRAINS IN BOTH CORNERFLO BOXES AND CONNECT THEM TO THE TWO 2 INCH DRAINS, (ONE TWO INCH DRAIN FOR EACH BOX)
    3. I WANT TO THROW A FEW CYNDERBLOCKS AND THEN A PIECE OF GREEN PLYWOOD UNDER THE SUMP IN THE BASEMENT, JUST WANT IT OFF THE GROUND A BIT.
    4. FINISH RUNNING THE 2 2" DRAINS TO THE SUMP
    5. DRILLL HOLES IN THE SUMP FOR SOME BULKHEADS
    6. WHICH IS WHAT I NEED SOME HELP FIGURING OUT IS I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SIZE RETURN PUMP IM GOING TO USE TO PUMP THE WATER BACK UPSTAIRS TO THE TANK, IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I KINDA WANT TO GET THE PUMP NEXT SO I CAN FINISH ALL MY PLUMBING ON THE SET UP. I KNOW ITS GONNA NEED A HUGE PUMP OR EVEN TWO BECAUSE OF THE 4 1" DRAINS, PLUS ITS PUMPING UP STAIRS AND HITTING ABOUT 8 ELBOWS AND A TEE, WHERE IT WILL THEN SPLIT OFF TO POSSIBLY TWO 1" SEA SWIRLS. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK, ESPECIALLY FOR A PUMP?? MELEV WHAT DO YOU THINK BUDDY??? HOWS THE WEATHER IN FL??

Am I understanding you correctly that you are going to use four 1 inch drains on this 265g? Seems like you should have at least two 1 1/2in drains.
