thanks guys i think i have a couple design flaws in my sump, now my question is how long do you think i could shut my sump down without hurting any of my corals or fish. i figure ill shut it down and redo it and then get it back up and running in a day.
get rid of the canister what are you using on your return lines if you have particulate in the tank get some micron bags to start polishing your water from your returns as for the bubbles tumbleweed pretty much touched on it what you are creating in the sump will go into the display tank
How is your sump laid out? Does it have multiple sections? Bubbles in the sump will transfer up to the display tank.
