Tank Entry

Some random guy named Marc, who posts here every now and then, opines that corals are best viewed and photographed from above. When the pumps are off during feeding I too, like to view the tank from above through the still surface. Last night I took a few pictures, though without the benefit of a top down photo box (someday I would like to get one, but I am busting the budget still buying frags and fish for my relatively new setup). The frags are still small, but growing!

In the last week, I've spotted about a dozen of these creatures in my refugium. They come in various sizes, from a few millimeters to a couple inches, and seem to be spreading. In the last day, I spotted one in the display, but it seems to have problems navigating in heavy current. It hangs on to the glass by the "feathers", and moves around using those so-called feathers. I just received my Brightwell Aquatics Microbacter7 additive and I am going to start the dosing my systems with it to assist with seeding of Biological Filtration and reducing the level of excess nutrients and waste material within the water.
