Well, the fishless reef is actually doing very good as far as inverts and corals go. I've finally had some decent success with sps corals, letting them encrust down onto the rocks plugless for a more natural look. I can't wait to get some fish back in this tank in a month or two, but I'm definitely not rushing anything in after losing everything during the transition to ich. If I had kept it sterile all along, it wouldn't have even been there to infect my fish and they probably would have made it... ...
I put together my new system last summer having purchased the new display tank from an old high school classmate via Facebook. He said it was 90 gallons, and I never had any reason to question it.
