Just thought i'd do a small update and put some pics up of what I've been doing. I still have to do the electrical for the lighting; thats what is on top of canopy. How would y'all do it? I have two ballast, one power strip and three timers. Would you mount on back of canopy or in stand. I don't have quick connects. Set up a new 75 gallon tank still a little algae left from when I started cycle over a month ago. I have been reading the posts on vodka dosing and I am deciding if I want to or not. I have no coral yet, just 2 cromis which are doing great, 6 crabs, 6 hermits, I think they are good, I only see 1 at a time and not very frequently, I have 5 turbo snails and 15 regular snails, and 2 bottles of tiggerpods they have all been in the tank for about 3 weeks. my concert is my first coral/s I leave ...
After a couple weeks with the 50 gallon frag tank sitting next to my old 55, I decided that it was finally time to get moving. I borrowed a DIY fish trap from a local reefer and took a few days getting everyone over there. I also had to get some coral off of large rocks that I couldn't fit in the 50, so I got out the rotozip's dry diamond wheel and made some frags. I used the "pegging" method that Marc showed me and I'm loving it so far. ...

Here we go..... UPDATE First consignment arrived "Love rocks has landed"! Another hard day . . . . "trip to Red Sea, collection of live rocks" i collected some about 300lps to 390lps exact weight I cannot tel. It was total 6 buckets. Buckets can hold 15ltr to 20ltr of water, so I am assuming that 55lps to 65lps per bucket...... It took 4 hours to collect rock from wild…. .. . .. . . but at last I ended up with good pieces ...
