Well, after trying everything less than a thermonuclear device I still have Maidens Hair in my tank. I've reduced the lighting, manually removed it, and reduced my feeding. I use Elos test kits and my Phosphates are 0, Nitrates 0, Nitrites 0??? I have read that you can have a tank full of algae and read 0 on Phosphates due to the algae consuming it all. Hi, I recently tried keeping my first Mandarin Fish. I had plenty of tiny creatures in my sump, assumed to be copopods, and added corals on live rocks weekly to keep the copopod population high. Initially, I thought he would adapt to my aquarium well, he regularly nibbled at rocks and substrate. So recently My palys skirts have been looking really bad, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. I looked for Sundials, Zoa Spiders, Nudi, Nudi eggs and couldn't find anything!
