Let me first apologize for such bad pictures. My photography skills end at my iPhone. I will try to get my hands and an actual camera sometime this week and get some better shots, but for the time being here are some blurry pics.

I have long been lurking on many forums researching and ogling many peoples tanks. I have learned the immense value that these threads/ blogs have for everyone who is willing to read them and have decided to try to start my own in hopes that others will be able to learn from my mistakes and use my limited knowledge to help them succeed in this wonderful hobby. Yesterday I went to Home Depot and picked up some timers. Here's how I set them-

Actinics-9am to 9pm
Whites-10am to 8pm

I have to get another timer for the moonlight.

Does this sound good? (the times)

Now, again, the protien skimmer has the foam up the tube but it seems that it won't go all the way up and go in the cup. Now my question is- do you think I need to have more bubbles or less? I've been playing with it but wanted to ask y'all ...
