Tank Entry

So my tank has been going pretty well. Almost too well. My Montipora has been putting on a measured growth weekly, gorgonians open and growing, even my goniopora has grown and attached to nearby rocks.

But I've always been unhappy with the tank.

Last week listening to Gary & Christine's Reef Threads podcast (which is a nice replacement to the Reef Addicts podcast since it is updated like.....NEVER! I'm looking at you Melev!) ...

Well couldn't overcome the hair algae issues from a second hand tank I bought so all live stock sold and tank stripped down. When removing all items the state of them was awful and all now cleaned up and like new.

Decided while tank stripped going to buy the Tunze 9002 upgrade and Media rack as they seem to improve the water clarity and flow etc.

Taken a while to do but worth it as know when complete will have a lovely tank again.
