After the bakpak has been up and running for a few days the micro bubbles have really cleared up. I am still having the noisy problem when running the skimmers though.
I happen to glance over at my reef right as the Eheim autofeeder plunged into the tank. It was still in feeding mode, rotating as it sank to the bottom of the tank. These auto feeders aren't cheap, so I quickly pulled it out of the tank and started disassemble immediately. I drained off all the water I could find within, and then doused it with Rubbing Alcohol since Jonathan always has suggested that for flooded electronics. Maybe the innards will recover from their drowned condition. ...

One of my 5 Green Chromis was behaving strange for some 4 months, it stopped swimming with the others, was always hiding or swimming at the cube's corners and apparently wasn't eating anymore. It was the largest specimen, possibly the older fish. Well, yesterday it died. Found it stuck sideways on one of my MP10s. When I was trying to remove it a peppermint shrimp came by and took it away, immediately starting to eat it. Not much was left when I came back home... well, ...
