Basic full overview of the system
I have a 12 gal Nano Cube tank that I want to use for a Q tank. Just wonder if I should just set it up as is. I think I could plumb it into my system and give it the total water volume and parameters of system. Though I believe if I needed to dose something this would make that a bad idea. Just looking for general thoughts on this. Any input is appreciated.
I got a few frags the yesterday and wanted to post some pics! Also I said a question on my last blog about this new bright green thin algae only growing on my dry rock I put in my tank. It doesn't grow on the live rock though. I had brown algae for a few weeks and then it went away. (still have a bit on substrate) What do y'all think about the algae? My new set up has finally become a reality. My first tank was a 40 breeder with DIY overflow, stand, and sump. This first tank was running for just a few days short of a year. I posted a blog on it here. I guess I would call my experience with this tank a success. A few hiccups here and there, but no major crashes or deaths.
