Basic full overview of the system
Well I took some good pictures over the weekend and thought I would post them for everyone to see. A little about my set up; it is a custom built tank by a local store, here in GA. The display it self is 30"x22"x20" wide so about 57 gallons. The sump is a 40 breeder that I added baffles too. Skimmer is an 110 Octo recirc. (Which I'm looking to change/upgrade to something rated for over 200 gallon.) I run an MRC dual chamber nano calcium reactor and BRS carbon reactor. ...
Here is my first saltwater tank which was set up in April of 2009. I have always liked the footprint of the 40 gallon breeder because I think it makes the tank seem larger than it actually is. The tank was drilled and fitted with a DIY overflow box made out of black acrylic along with a durso standpipe. I picked up some established LR from local reefers. I have gone through most of the usual newbie reef headaches: cyano, temp crashes, ect. But even though it looks a bit rough I am proud that I have ...

I didnt know he was taking pics. I also need ...
Many of us have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with algae breakouts. For some these problems are a minor nuisance, but for others this problem can drive them right out of the hobby. In dealing with my algae problems, I became determined to educate myself with why I was experiencing this outbreak as well as how I could stop it and hopefully prevent it in the future. I hope that the experience that I gained can help others who are plagued by this nuisance. ...

Decided I'm going to give the Brightwell Neo Zeo method a try on my 90 gal. I've ordered all the supplies and will be setting it up this weekend. I'm planning on documenting the process here. I've read all their documentation, but would love to hear and tips or suggestions from other hobbyists who've tried it. I'm also kinda wondering if anyone has combined a Zeo method with Prodibio, too....
