  1. water mixing station

Some time ago there was an article here about Melev's new salt water mixing barrel he built. I was quite impressed by it and am now considering something like it. However, I can no longer find the article. I would appreciate any help that can be provided. As for me I haven't posted in a while...recently bought a new house with a office (fish-room) that I am outfitting with a 75 g reef tank, 40 g sump, 10 g gravity ATO and finally a 20 g refugium (last).I picked up a 55 gal food-quality barrel ...

  2. New addition

Picked up an APEX a little while ago and been having a grand old time playing and getting it setting set up and configured. Last night I finally got my ATO up and running. My nitrates stay in the 10-15ppm range.

  5. My new tank build up

I decided to upgrade my nano to one step up. I had a few requirements:

    1. Not too big. 42 x 24 X 20
    2. Had to blend into existing house and furniture. Where possible use existing items vs buy new and have it accepted by wife
    3. Have the system set up to be as low maintenance and automated as possible! Wife will not deal with tank related issues when I'm out of town on business!

So this is my story of the tank build up in San Francisco, Bay Area!
