The tank will hopefully arrive next week. This week its snowed every day all day, and its making getting around the city trecharous. Sadly its not always the weather conditions that make travel so difficult. I sit on the 25th floor and right now its white out conditions; I can't see the building next to us, or any across the streets. So I need an electronic solenoid valves for a tank project and wondering if a sprinkler valve would work in its place, cause a true PVC solenoid is like $200 and a sprinkler is around $20. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but for the valve to be "aquarium safe" it: Can't have any water come in contact to metalWould type of plastic play a role?Anything I could be missing?
