Questions - Need some input

I have questions that need answers.

  1. need help bad

    I really could use some help. this may be long also sorry.
    I just got my sump on Tues, thats the good part I hope. here is what I think is my problem. 1 will not fit under cabinet unless I take tank apart and start over. 2 is there ever a time when I will have to take sump out from under the tank. 3 should I wait until I get my skimmer then do everything at once. 4 here are the numbers to help with next question,

  2. Help Me Turn My 220 into a TOTM Candidate

  3. Reef Dummy

    Hi, I am a very ignorant (reef tank) person who loves the hobby. Just starting my first 55G reef tank. Wish me luck (prayers would be appreciated). Currently have tank set up with live rock, live sand, snails, crab and lots of unknowns (ha). Begining "cycle" everything close to zero now. HEEEEEEEELLLLP !

  4. vortech mp40

    I have a question about the wet assembly on my vortech. On one side or quarter of the wet assembly there is a section that does not have grills/it is solid. Which direction should this face or does it matter?

  5. upgrading to a 180 gallon. dry or live rock?

    55 gallon mixed reef, upgrading to a 180 gallon i picked up last friday at LFS. but need a little bit more rock to do what i wish. already have 60-70 pounds of live marshal island, tonga, and fiji live rock, but would like maybe 185lbs. should i buy dry rock and wait for benificial bacteria to grow or should i dump some money into good quality live rock?
