Questions - Need some input

I have always wanted a foxface in my tank but I keep reading (shocker that im doing my research first huh guys? -_-) that they are not reef safe however I keep seeing these awesome fish appearing in a bunch of FTS and close ups in reef tanks on here?!?! are these guys more reef safe than what has been said about them? Like i said i would really like one and at the least if they do pick at certain corals can someone list what corals specifically?

Further to my queery about using the de humidifier water for makeup water, which I wont do (thanks to all), is 2 1/2 gallons of kalkwasser per day to use fur make up water? Because the pH is so high I thought it might be too much.

I see on a lot of photos of tanks a lot of turbulance on the water surface. Should I point one of my pumps up towards the surface? Is it benificial for the o2 exchange???

well.... i just bought a giant Australian elegance coral last night and i was un-aware of there terrible survival rates in the captivity, Nothing is wrong with the coral as of now (knock on wood) so hopefully it will not get elegance flu and die on me (knock on wood). But with my luck it probably will, However i also purchased two Acans that are nothing short of beauty in its purest form. I hear they are much better in captivity.. hardy even! however there will be no more pre-researched purchases ...

one of the new components on my RODI is an auto shut off valve, everything seems to be working, however when the autoshut off turns off, the lowest the preasure will drop on the systeem is 28psi and waste water is still produced, ive tryed waiting up to 20min for it to drop but it doesnt....does anyone have suggestions?
