Found out why my "Green Star Polpys not extending"... caught a Mithrax crab red handed: Now I'm debating what to do.... GSP grow quick... so maybe I can keep them for Mithrax food in parallel with the other stuff (Valonias and GHA)... so they don't decide to eat other soft corals like the Zoas and Palithoa... I was thinking of moving the GSP to my new quarantine tank, but, with the lights off that tank is averaging 27.5C ...

Well, My LFS advised me to try the chemical - Stability; to Cycle the tank with and after a weeks worth these are the readings taken at noon today. temp - 80.5 SG - 1.024 PH - 8.0 Ammon - 0.00 ppm Nitrite - 0.00 ppm Nitrate - 20 ppm. I dont have test kits yet for Alkalinity or calcium... Am thinking that a 10% water change is in order and to see what the Nitrate comes down to???? or perhaps a 20%?? ...
So I am currently having a problem with cyanobacteria. Nitrates and phosphates are both very close to 0. I am looking for the best way to remove it. Manual removal or chemical?

Ok, this may seem like an odd request but since Verizon now has the iPhone I would like to set it up to control my reef. My question is what app and what controller (and anything else) do I need? Also will this app work on an iPad as well, seeing how a co-worker won 3 of them and gave me one today Thanks in advance.
