  2. My 75G Reef Tank - Recent Build

    Hi all! I've been reading blogs from this site for a long time now and figured it was time I share my setup. My tank has been setup now for 8 months.   3. Skimmer Swabbie repaired

    The Skimmer Swabbie offered by AvastMarine.com is a great way to keep the neck of the collection cup clean. A motor rotates a squeegee within the riser, as often as a timer allows. I've been using the Skimmer Swabbie for about two years. A few months ago, the motor stopped and I ordered a replacement.

    Fortunately, my tank sitter came over and helped get it swapped out because it was on my To Do list. A few weeks later, it was making strange noises so I called up Justin at Avast ...

  4. Thinking of starting over.....any thoughts

    Ok so I have been through a lot with my current tank and set up but I am starting to lose some very hardy corals and as well there are some things and corals I would like to rid my tank of (blue clove polyps, xenia.) My rock I bought "live" but it is not very porous and I think may be leaching some bad into my water as well. So I am thinking about "starting over" and wanted to get some input.

    First off if i do this my equipment and tank would remain the same but ...
