  1. Bubble Magus BM-NAC5E External Hang On Back Protein Skimmer Review.

Bubble Magus BM-NAC5E External Protein Skimmer

I think the time has come to replace the Seaclone 100 Protein Skimmer. I has been doing its job as well as it can but I am finally at a point in the setup were I would like to purchase something of better quality and more efficiency. My only draw back is that I do not have a sump so I am limited to Hang On Back Protein Skimmers. I have heard that Bubble Magus Protein Skimmers have a quality build, reliable pumps and are extremely efficient ...

  2. Working around the Marineland 400g tank

Now that the tank is here, I'm able to get more of the fishroom completed. You'd think the tank would be in the way, but without it on site, it is nearly impossible to finalize the room that surrounds it.

Last week, more wiring was completed. Then the 265g water container was brought in so the last wall could be studded up.

  3. The 280g reef is leaking

The top left corner of my tank is leaking. Ugh. I'm going to have to figure out what I can do about it today. The carpet is wet in the entry way.

    Update 7:57 pm 7/03/10:

Here are the pictures I took this afternoon. I didn't take a picture of wet carpet because you know what that looks and smells like. 5. My new frag tank is online!

I've gradually been putting together the frag tank over the past month or so. It's finally online. I love its look, and how it is tied into the 400g reef.

It's a cute little thing, 22" x 13" x 8" with a 1" Durso drain in a 5" x 5" corner overflow. The locline feeding into the frag tank is adorable, I've never seen such tiny locline before. It's got a 1/4" outlet. The tank holds just under 10g of water.
