    my acro crab waving like he just dont care, while watching it i noticed he would take food off the polyps of the acro, didnt seem to bother the coral.

  3. Water Test Part 1

    I just started phase 1 of our water test. The plan is to fill the tank over the course of a few days, and then let it sit for one week. Then next weekend, provided there are no leaks, we'll train it, and then start working on putting up the walls and completing the fishroom.

    I have complete faith in our builders and don't expect any leaks at all.

  5. Small modifications make good solutions

    Over the past couple of weeks, little changes were made to adjust circumstances that resulted in better conditions with the 400g.

    1) The water line was just under the plastic trim of the tank. I don't like that look since it usually cause "light leak" into the room. Rather than having to look at that beam of light, I prefer to raise the water level in the display tank. Taking a scrap of 3/8" acrylic, I placed it in the overflow behind the teeth and this increased the height of ...
