I have or should say had a acro frag and noticed that it was not doing well. When I looked closer it had a number of what I think are amphipods on it and looked like they were eating it. I have looked on the web and it seems that most people feel that amphipods do not eat corals and are only cleaning up dead or dying tissue. The now seem to have moved to another coral. Any advise or comment would be appreciated.
Sooooo excited. My new lights came in the mail yesterday. It's a custom 150w dimmable LED light from Evolution LED lights. When I had T5's I used to love my purple UV blub so when I was talking to Chris (Reefkoi) the owner of Evolution, he said that he could have them add LED's into his fixture. I received an email from Marineland on Friday that informed me the trucking company would contact me Monday for pickup. I hope they pick it up that same day, since it is 100% ready and road-worthy.
