At the end of the recent Frag Swap I attended in Tennessee, I asked the seller how much he wanted for all the Maxima clams in his tank. "Seriously?" he asked, and I said yes. After a little deliberating, we agreed on a price and he bagged each one up for me. They were in small clam cradles he'd made with frag plugs and two-part putty. I thought I should update.

This morning I went to my tank in hopes of planning where to place all my new sps frags (about 12 coming in tomorrow). Just as I was feeling great about my great polyp extension on my hulk acro I realized I was down one fish, I went to the other side of the tank to see my purple fire fish on its side on the sand bed gasping for air

The only new additions to the tank have been a deeper sand bed about 2 weeks ago (no I didn’t cycle the tank), 2 small peppermint shrimp added a week ago, ...
