  1. Not just for Clean up Crew any more

    The Cube of Fun is no longer just an exclusive hangout for clean-up-crew members only. Keep in mind, even though I just recently started posting, the tank has been up for over 8 weeks and has cycled.

  2. My Saltwater Mixing Station (Part 2)

    Check out Part 1 in case you missed it.

    I wrapped up the plumbing for my water mixing station this weekend.

    The first thing I did was install the Uniseal on the top barrel for storing RO/DI water. Installing the Uniseal was tough but I learned a trick is to either use warm soapy water or your favorite water based lubricant. I'll let you guess which one I used but it was a lot easier than just trying to jam the PVC through the Uniseal.

  3. Zoanthids going nuts

    I have a small tank that the plain green/brown zoos are going nuts. What is the best way to clean off the ones I do not want? They are acting like weeds.

  5. DIY sump questions

    Hello everyone I am working on a new sump for my 75 gallon tank. Here is what I have come up with. My question is this do I have a the baffles the correct? I have reef octopus skimmer 6 rated for a 150 gallons and should sit in 6-8 inches of water. The two baffles in question are labeled
    (red arrows in the picture) do they both need to be 8 inches high or are they good the way there are? let me know if anyone spots any other issues with this set up as I don't what to have the glass shop cut ...
