The first photo below shows the post attached to the bottom inner frame assembly. The post are made from 2X4's that have had 1/4 inch planed from the broad side surface. Also the outer side of the post are trimmed down to 3/4" to match a 1X4. This is for attaching the side panels. They match the ones from the canopy which used 1X4 for the post since they do not bear the load of the tank full of water. Below are photo's of the parts for the stand. It is similar to the canopy in that has a inner frame which is actually the stand holding the tank. The back panel is a cabinet with 2 doors. One on each side. This will house the power bars for the pumps and other devices. It will also house the power supply's for the LED's. Behind the front door of the Stand will be the controller and modules. There are two doors on each side to gain access under the stand.

The last major parts of the canopy are in the photo's below. The top lid is used for access to the LED's and electronics in the canopy. No access to the tank through the lid. The top outer frame holds the top of the side panels and the top lid is mounted to this frame. This frame is attached to the inner frame. The bottom frame assembly is attached to the bottom of the side panels and is also used to hold the bottom of the side panels against the inner frame.
Below are photo's of the side panel parts and assembled side panel. Since this a hex tank the angle just didn't look right so i decided to add a column or the appearence of one. the parts at the left and right of the photo accomplish this when the side panels meet. They are also cut to make room for a recessed insert. I relied heavily on a router table for this build. I am by no means an expert at woodwork. This is my first attempt at something this major.
