We're going to have an awesome booth at the Marine Aquarium Expo on April 10 and 11, 2010. Be sure to stop by so we can meet some of you. If you've never attended, this is a trade show for hobbyists that let's you visit with a bunch of vendors both days. In addition, six speakers will be presenting topics that will increase your knowledge about this wonderful hobby.
I just booked my flight. Ed booked his a week ago, Jessy is driving up from San Diego. We'll all meet in Orange County at the Fair Grounds and hang out for the weekend to talk about whatever comes up. We'll be taking and sharing video of various vendors & their products, and uploading them to our YouTube channel.
The entry fee is nominal, $15 for the day. Livestock and drygoods will be selling to people left and right, then there's the raffle to win some goods. Food and drink is available. Bring lots of money! ATM machines are available of course. Every gift bag handed out when you enter will include a cool Reef Addicts sticker to adorn your sump to mark the proper water level, so that alone is worth a visit, right?!

Still not convinced? On average, about 2500 to 3000 people attend MAX each year. That's a lot of hobbyists perusing the aisles to see what's new, what's selling for a special show price, and to hear their favorite speaker. Some fly in from out of state, while others make the drive. If you're an addict, I really don't have to say anything else.
