ive had my 39 gallon going for about two months now with an eshopps nano overflow going into a 15 gallon rubermaid sump. my overflow box is making too much noise, how can i silence it?

    there is a youtube video by eshopps.
    there is a thread on 3reef in the sponsors forum for this as well.

    when i had one, i just took a length of air line and stuck it about 1/2 way down it allowed airbubbles to surface and water to flow down.
    (i also plumbed my drain with clear vynal so i could see where air bubbles were floating in the tube and just put the airline there and everything was great from there.

    Also have an Eshopps overflow box... the 1200 gph model. Just followed the simple instructions on the Hofer Gurgle Buster website and made two to replace the stock standpipes. Instantly quiet! The clear vinyl aquarium tubing is part of this design... after it is adjusted it works wonderfully!
