180g Tank Build - 11 mos. and counting.

New door to the fishroom.

Rate this Entry
Almost done with the new entry way to the fishroom. Installed a pre-hung door, added some framing, sheet rocked, and taped and mudded it. Still need to texture, add trim, and paint - but I'm getting close. It's remarkable how quiet the rest of the basement has become. ...and less stinky.

Did you go the phosban reactor route?

I made my own reactor it hold 2 1/2 to 3 cups and run it off a rio600 pump it just lays in the sump killed the smell in 4 days and a noticeably clearer water. Only cost about 3 dollars to make it. I just was concerned about lld in my tangs but I think Ill just run it as needed may be 2 or 3weeks at a time then same time with out.
