Terence Fugazzi

Terence hails from Salt Lake City, Utah where he has worked as a technology marketing consultant and most recently taken on the position of VP Sales and Marketing for Neptune Systems. A technology geek at heart, Terence is a relatively new saltwater hobbyist having only maintained reef tanks for just over four years. However, in that short time he has gravitated toward the technology side of reefkeeping with his involvement in aquarium controllers, monitoring and automation. Terence currently maintains a 210g mixed reef, a 135g frag tank in his garage, and a 14g Nano — all controlled by a single Apex Aquacontroller.

In March of 2010 Terence co-founded the Utah Marine Aquarium Society (http://www.utmas.com), a club of reefkeeping enthusiasts. He is extremely passionate about the hobby and even more passionate about helping others enjoy it and, most importantly, to stick with it. Terence has previously spoken on the topic of aquarium controllers at MACNA 2011, MAX, Reef-a-palooza, and at various aquarium clubs and organizations nationwide.

Terence will be our first speaker of the day at Next Wave. From 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. his topic will be: "What REALLY Matters When Deciding on an Aquarium Controller & What are your options out there and the cool stuff can you do" This includes 15 min Q&A at conclusion of his talk.

If you have an Apex or plan to get one soon, he'll provide the answers you seek. He will be representing Neptune Systems in the booth all day when he's not speaking or eating lunch.

Next Wave is the annual DFWMAS event, and people travel from all over to attend. The event features four speakers, and about two dozen vendors. Tyree's Coral Farmers Market(sm) provides tank-raised corals for those looking to add new choice pieces to their reef tanks.
