It looks good. I see some black pipe in the sump acting as bubble towers, correct? Nice surface skimmer for your drain. Is there a check valve in your return plumbing? I see something white in the background of image #11. I like that you oversized the stand to have room for your sump. I would have left a small shelf in front as well, but you can always add a little trimwork to get the same effect. Be sure to orient that cord upwards for the Vortech, and secure it so the motor can't fall.
Yepper Marc on the Vortech, As for the Bubble tower yes it works well and make the bubbles rise immediately so the skimmer can not suck them inand they seem to burst right at the bubble barrier. The stand was tight for that 55 sump but it fits, I would have rather used a 45 long, but the Wife grabbed it for FW tank. Iam building 2 shelf units surround the tank. One is to hold my equipment, the other to hold my collection of wizards and dragons, so I will have room in the cabinet to make a shelf. The check valve was removed when I realized it was not needed for this tank , the sump will hold all the water in case of power off.
that looks just like the 55 gallon I set up as a freshwater for my ladies green spotted puffers.
