I bought the NJ3000 for a return pump for a breeding setup I am planning, but those plans have been delayed. Now I am using the pump to assist with water changes. It's pretty amazing how much water this pump can move in a short time.

that overheating auto shut off is useful for anybody that use this as a return pump, big thumbs up for Marineland. (even though they don't have alot of innovation stuff lately). Let's hope it's as reliable as the maxi-jet

I'm using one of these right now. Nice & quiet. Works very well.

Just found this today, good timing since I'm planning to start building my sump this weekend (since someone never returned my request for a quote on one )

I have 2 of these running now. One as my return pump, which I had to throttle down to keep from over powering my overflow box. And the other is powering my algae scrubber. So far they're both running quietly with no issues.
