I am too. It'll be great to see some of my friends at SDMAS! They also will have a 100gpd RO/DI system in the raffle, one from Melev's Reef.
We will be raffling off among other things, a Digital Aquatics RKL system. We are excited to bring Marc out to sunny SoCal to speak to us and add to the ever growing number of quality speakers that SDMAS has to offer. We are looking forward to it, Marc!
I don't know why they don't hold strongly. I clean the area with rubbing alcohol, secure the new pad to the dry clean area, and then a month later it's loose. Maybe the weight of the cord since the driver/controller is near the floor. I hooked the cable over the back in the mean time.
I am surprised those aren't holding well. Though I just changed mine, it was for re-positioning reasons.. and it was a royal pain to get off!
Yeah, those things don't hold well and I usually replace them as that happens. These pumps have the cord running over the top of the tank so if something were to happen, it wouldn't fall to the ground. Remember, this is my TEMPORARY tank.
lol I like the tab holding your vortech from danger!
It's been sold to another hobbyist who is setting it up this summer.
Unfortunately yes it does count. Were you able to sell 2.0 or did you keep it for future considerations?
Yes, it is. And does 2.0 count when it never got wet?
I'm looking forward to the big tank version 3.0! I just picked up some pe mysis on Saturday. Then I viewed your post today and learned that it is a product of Canada. Small world eh!
I'm hoping to breathe more life into RA with the arrival of my reef tank... this waiting game is killing my momentum.
That is cool. Also very cold! I am definitely watching my tank temp. It's about 90 here and expected to get a liitle warmer over the next couple days.Tank is at 79 exactly. Thanks for the nice pics too Marc!
Blog updated with how it all worked out.

Every day, the board is flattening back out. I'm able to pull the shims out a little more every two days. Seems the cessation of moisture fixed one problem, and gravity coupled with the weight of the tank full of water is resolving the situation nicely.
It wasn't necessary with a perfectly flat surface. Styrofoam for bigger objects especially on questionable surfaces. This was fine for 27 months, until this happened. Foam wouldn't have fixed this one.
shouldn't that frag tank be on Styrofoam?
Yes, that's the plan. I may end up with a few other things in the tank because that's generally what ends up happening.
Awesome to here an update, I just meant rebuilt as in they have built and rebuilt that tank frontwards and backwards (ha ha bad joke sorry.) But just to reiterate what I am sure you already here frequently none of us in the hobby can wait to see your 400 gallon tank started back up with progression pics including aquascaping. So with the Radion you will actually have a review on how LEDs and anemones get along?
